All is Life, H.K.

When I was a child I always thought there was another world that was full of happiness. This became my dream and the goal of my whole life. The way that my parents brought me up was to be a good person so people would be good to me and I could then get whatever I wanted. But the fact there will be disappointments.

With my whole life I pursued this goal. I finished a master's degree in special education and taught for six years. I behaved myself and helped others as much as I could. I attended different religious groups and studied their knowledge. The more I sought, the more I felt dissatisfied deep within.

After I came to the Lord and was baptized in the church all my seeking was over and now I just enjoy everything in the church as life. Everything is life, and my whole being is becoming soaked in and with life. I never dreamt that my dream would become reality. In the local church, all the meetings, the singing, the Bible everything--is life.

I can say I have found the real life (Timothy 6:19) in the local church with other believers. And I have ended my search. Now I am enjoying full rest every day in everything with others. Nothing in the universe can replace this reality.
